The last few weeks have been all about the bikes for the Year 6 group at Albany Primary. Under Mrs Mercer's expert guidance, they have completed 3 sessions of bike education (including a ride from school to Emu Point and back) this term. Today was one of the highlights on the Year 6 calendar and a chance to put those skills into practice, with a ride on the Munda Biddi. Thanks to a small army of parent volunteers (who transported bikes, supervised riders, and drove support vehicles), our wonderful Year 6 teachers and school chaplain, the students rode a 20km section of the Munda Biddi from Elleker to Torbay and return. How lucky are we to have this available to us just down the road!

Some stunning pictures here, Andrea. And all on APS's doorstep (relatively speaking!) What a ride, what scenery; nature at its best. Well done everyone who contributed to this great outcome.

Nice team effort everyone 😊! I have given you 65 points for the 'Volunteer Power" activity - great job harnessing all the power of those happy, smiley parents 😁. You also earned 25 points for your excursion and 80 points for the bike ed, plus a final 10 for all the details.
