With thanks to a Your Move Connecting Schools Grant, Albany Primary School's P+C Sustainability Committee is very proud to present our new active transport video! Please click here to view the video.
We hope it will encourage more APS families to make walking, riding or catching the bus to school a regular part of their week. It's not just good for our kid's health and for the environment, it's also a really important part of supporting our kids to become more independent and resilient. We hope that is the message that stays with the audience.
The video was launched at our school assembly last week, with a fabulous introduction by our Semester 2 Your Move student team. The students were so excited to see some of their classmates up on the big screen! The video will be used at future assemblies and school events, as well as becoming a regular part of parent meetings and school orientations. It's also being shared far and wide on social media!

Thank you to the amazing Alex from Mule Creative for turning our ideas into a gorgeous reality, to Justin from Swan Transit for making himself (and a bus!) available for filming, and to all of the APS families who took part. And of course a huge thanks to everyone in the school community who has supported our active transport activities! We could not be prouder :)

I wish I could have been there at the assembly to see the reaction ✨! What a great team effort and an outstanding result. You have earned 20 points for that 'outstanding' factor, on top of the 25 for the assembly, 10 for promoting YM on social media in Term 3 and 10 for another engaging story 😊.
