Year 5 students have completed four weeks of bike education lessons with Chris and Mel from CycleSense. The lessons were very enjoyable for all, as well as educational. Students were taught how to check their brakes, tyres and handlebars to ensure their bike is roadworthy. Weekly drills improved their bike handling skills as well as their understanding of road rules and use of hand signals. The lessons ended with a community cycle around the school, on the footpath, to demonstrate their new skills.

Hi Julie - Thanks for sharing those shots of the kids during their bike ed sessions - great to see all that concentration! You have earned 80 points for facilitating bike ed at Bannister Creek plus 10 points for sharing the details of how it all worked out. Have a wonderful end of the week and an even better weekend!
