On Wednesday 31st March, the Year 6 students rode their bicycles and scooters 6km to Kent St Weir in Cannington, to participate in a variety of activities.

The activities explored how living things adapt to changes in the physical environment and developed the students’ cultural awareness in identifying Noongar terminology for weather, seasons, landscapes, flora and fauna.

Everyone had a great day and were all very tired after the 6km ride back to school.

What a lovely day out Julie, and a great way for kids to see how practical bikes are for "local" trips (even if 6km might not feel so local!). You have earned 25 points for using active travel for your excursion and a bonus 10 for a great story.
