On Thursday 11th June the students and staff at Bassendean Primary School were invited to celebrate the return of the AFL footy competition by riding or walking to school wearing their favourite sporting team colours. Once again the weather was not our friend, but a large number of students and a couple of staff braved the wetness and traveled pollution free to school. Over $200 was also raised via gold coin donation to purchase new sporting equipment for the students to use during recess and lunchtime breaks.

Where are the Swan Districts jerseys! Great idea Tammy - and the innovation has earned you a bonus 15 points on top of the 40 points you earned for the event. Good to hear too that $200 was raised for sports equipment - what a win:win:win situation!
