Colourful Socks Ride2School!

What a happy, active and colourful day the National Ride2School Day was at Bassendean Primary School. There were bike riders, walkers and kids on scooters wearing bright and colourful socks everywhere!

Students and staff were asked to actively travel to school wearing their favourite colourful socks, and they did not disappoint. A whopping 90% of our students from Kindy through to Year 6 got on board and rode their bike, scootered their scooter, or walked to school. That is up from 52% just one month earlier.

Students who actively travelled to school received a sticker and went into a prize draw to win a prize redeemed with our Your Move points. Each class had a lucky winner drawn randomly and they were super excited to choose from Your Move backpacks, drink bottles and bike bells.

Thank you very much Your Move and AWESOME effort Bassendean Primary School.
