October is WA Bike Month and we were successful in securing a grant from the Department of Transport (WestCycle) so that we could hold our “Ride to School Breakfast” on Friday, 22 October 2021. Thank you to all the families who rode their bikes to school safely on what was a glorious morning and then joined us for a healthy breakfast as a great way to start the day. Thank you to Mr Hugh Jones MLA, who joined us and to all the staff who helped with setting up and serving breakfast. Lastly, we would like to thank the Department of Transport and WestCycle for the funds so that we were able to purchase the breakfast items for our families. Today was another successful Ride to School Day with a large number of students and families participating!

Great stuff, Cam and all the team at Beenyup PS 😊! Your photos really capture it - kids, adults, bikes, trikes - great to see everyone getting their wheels out and getting into the action 🤩. You have earned 40 points for the event and 40 points for your efforts in securing the Bike Month grant. Looking at the photos you also set up a cycling course around the grounds for the event - so that has earned you another 30 points. Nice work everyone!
