Caladenia Your move team workshop

Caladenia Primary school is a primary school based in the City of Canning, the motto of our school is "Be the best you can be". 12 students from Year 5 were selected to attend a workshop with Millennium Kids and the Department of Transport’s Your Move team.

On the first day, we took the school bus but on the second day we used public transport. For some of us, it was the first time we had taken public transport. It was different to travel without a seat belt.

On the first day, we rotated through activities with other schools from the City of Canning and RAC, the Transperth and Millennium Kids. The activities that we did were making posters about a problem and a solution to a big transport or environmental issue. On our poster, we did a comic/ diary about an alien that was visiting Earth but found it hard to breathe because of car pollution. Everyone that saw our comic thought it was lots of fun and we got some laughs.

When our brains got tired we had a dance party.

Thanks for sharing your take on the day Mila and Clarissa! You have earned 15 points for sharing it. You have also earned 25 points for using Transperth to get to the Labs! I love the start of your comic - I wonder what happens at the end 🙄.
