People on Bicycles Prize

Earlier this year, we were lucky enough to win a competition run during Walk Safely to School Day. On Monday 2nd November, we had another visit from the People on Bicycles to fix the bikes of some students. As it was an overcast day with rain and possible storms forecast, unfortunately not as many of our students were able to ride to school. This meant that the mechanics were able to spend more time on each bike, and the students who did ride to school, left knowing that their bike had been carefully looked at, fixed up and now safer to ride. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students who ride their bikes regularly to school. We would highly recommend the People on Bicycles for a prize, grant reward or a paid visit.

Hi Sue - it is great to hear that you liked it so much the first time around that People on Bicycles were asked to come back in term 4. I have linked you story to the related activity, which gives you 50 points. I have also given you an extra 10 points for letting us know how it all panned out - great to hear that the bike were able to get such a super service!
