Last Tuesday we organised another pop-up parklet at the Canning admin building to celebrate all the work staff had put into Your Move Canning. Once again the parks and communities team excelled by providing us with lovely plants and furniture to help transform some grey parking bays into a beautiful oasis. Unfortunately the weather was not so generous as you can see.
A coffee cart was sourced and free coffee offered to staff. To earn a coffee staff had undertake the onerous task of chatting to Emma and myself about the project before leaving us some feedback. Staff were asked:
- What could be improved with Your Move Canning?
- What has worked well with Your Move Canning?
- What can the City do over the next year to help you use active transport?
