A quick Friday arvo note - feedback on the staff pool bikes this week was that they were hard to get in and out of the shed.
An email sent around found a spare bike rack at the depot.
A quick tweak of the bikes and installation of the rack in the shed = much easier access (and makes the cargo trike much easier to get in and out).
Quick wins for a Friday afternoon – more convenient bike access and up-cycling old infrastructure!

Hello Gavin, Good to see the improve bike facilities at the City's temporary home - which should make it easier for staff to use the pool bicycles. What facilities will be included in the new civic centre to be built at Kings Square?

Hi David, Kings Square civic centre will have top of the line end of trip facilities with secure bike parking, change rooms/storage/drying. Also, the Sirona development currently underway (old Myer building, new Queensgate building) will also have high quality staff end of trip facilities.
