The Big Bike Film Night went great last night! Over 150 people went and enjoyed nine diverse films about riding and human stories - ranging from one man’s mission to ride EVERY street across New Zealand, an unusual Victorian pastime taking place in modern London and an Australian female rider who goes back in time to carry the stories of the past into the future. Thanks to Department of Transport and West Cycle Bike Month grant which helped us get a bike valet for the night and went above and beyond with promotional brochures and maps, and the odd fix up. Next events include the community Morning Coffee Ride at South Beach on Saturday 30 October (ride on down and win prizes) and Freo Bike Tours from 23 October to 31 October. Was the film about riding all the streets in NZ fiction or based on a true story? If true that is amazing! Thanks for sharing the success of this event - you have earned another 10 points for those details. Looking forward to hearing about the other events in due course 😊.

No all true - this guy for his fitness and mental health decided to ride every street in Nelson NZ - end joke was he called out for any new subdivisions in the area in case he missed any new streets
