Promote the love of cycling from a young age!

The City of Fremantle is celebrating WA Bike Month with several activities to encourage people of all ages and abilities to ride bikes for transport, fun and a healthier lifestyle.

This one-hour session is aimed at children who know how to ride a bike but still need a little upskilling to develop their confidence.

The session includes the provision of suitable bicycles and helmets, as well as a quick bike service for those who bring their own bicycle or ride as a family to the event.

Tickets are free, but please register at the ticket link. https://www.facebook.com/events/1246870225657783/

Perfect timing Gavin - school holidays followed by Bike Month! Make sure you let us know how the event goes so that I can give you points for running this Bike Skills Workshop. It will be interesting to hear, as it is free, if you have any issues with no-shows or cancelations. I know the City of Vincent decided to charge a nominal fee to avoid that situation - see https://www.yourmove.org.au/city-of-vincent/womens-cycling-courses/

Hi James - will do. Good tip on the nominal fee - we did discuss but due to the location and catchment we decided to keep it free
