The Rockingham Autumn Centre hosted an E-Bike, Trike and Scooter Expo from 9am - 12pm this morning! The Centre Manager Brett McDonald said the main aim was to educate and engage the City's Seniors in active transport options so that they can alleviate the congestion that occurs in the over-used car park. Cycling Without Age also attended with their Trishaws providing many of the Club members with a relaxing 10 minute ride through HMAS Warramunga Park. The expo was open to the entire community, with many young parents and community members in attendance, learning and trialling everything from E-Bikes to self-folding scooters! Huge thanks to all the local and Perth-based providers that offered their time in making the event a success!

What a great way to promote active transport to the community! Being given the opportunity to try a new behaviour in a safe and supportive setting is a key step in the move to active transport. Bonus points for involving a swag of providers and opening it up to the whole community.
