As part of our new shared pathways on Koondoola Avenue and Butterworth Avenue. The City has installed a Bike Repair Station to equip bike riders with the tools necessary to ride to work and school. Three local schools as well as residents will be able to use this facility.
As part of our 'Your Move' points, the City has exchanged points for Bicycle Repair Station on ground signage from the rewards shop, thank you 'Your Move'.The process was easy, checking out in the rewards shop with the 'Your Move' team at hand. Andrew from Print Sign Co was very knowledgable and Stuart did a fantastic job of installing the on ground signage.
Bike riders will be able to confidently use our Bicycle Repair Station thanks to our colourful on ground signage.

Great idea to do this as part of the new path project. Your repair station installation has earned you 50 points, and you got 10 points for your story details. What location did you choose and why? I see there is already some nice bike parking there 🙂.

Hi James, We also installed the bike racks at both parks adjacent to the path. We chose this location to provide facilities for residents who would be utilising our new shared paths :).

Great way to build confidence by having these alongside the new paths. Looks fantastic! We're getting a few of these repair stations at QEIIMC very soon - can't wait!
