The City applied for WABN grants program 2023-2024/2024-2025

The City submitted WABN grants funding for 2023-2025/2026, all projects form part of the City's Active Transport Plan 2022/2023-2025/2026. These projects will encourage residents to use 'Your Move' to utilise active travel safely to get to work and school. The WABN grants we submitted are as follows:

  • Lukin Drive from Connolly Drive to Marmion Avenue – Design in 2023/24 and construction in 2024/25 of 870m x 3.5m red asphalt shared pathway on the south side.
  • Highclere Boulevard, Le Grand Gardens, Decourcey Way and Chancellor Rise Safe Active Street – consultation & concept design in 2023/24 and detailed design in 2024/25 of 1500m safe active street.
  • Santa Rosalia Vista, Pinjar Road, Seurat Loop, Cezane Bend Safe Active Street – consultation & concept design in 2023/24 and detailed design in 2024/25 of 1300m safe active street.
  • Jordan Street from Marcon Street to Australis Drive – Design and construction in 2023/24 of 260m x 3.5m red asphalt shared pathway on the west side.

Its all happening at Wanneroo 😊! Great to see you putting in for a WABN grant for these exciting projects (that has earned you 40 points). Also, I was pretty excited to see how much Your Move is mentioned in the Active Travel Plan you attached - getting that in place is a major achievement (and it earned you 100 points!).
