Coolbinia Primary, the Department of Transport: Your Move Schools and the City of Stirling Living Green program are working together to improve commitment to active transport. A meeting between YM staff, the Principal of our school and the YM school rep was held recently to discuss YM plans for the rest of 2020 and into 2021.
During Term 4 2020, students will be involved in a 'hands-up' iPad survey at the start of the term and stencilling active transport signage in the local area later in the term. Also in Term 4, parents and local citizens will be consulted about safe routes to school, using an online feedback mapping tool.
Next year, in Term 1, there will be a grand YM adventure day, during which students across the whole school will be engaged in a range of active transport activities, such as bike education and skateboarding displays. We are very excited to be part of this YM program!

I love the name of your planned "Grand Your Move Adventure" day. Thanks for sharing your planning session with YM staff and your Principal - in has earned you 15 points, plus 10 for filling us in with the details. I'll be tuning in in term 1 to read how it all goes!
