We are in the planning process of looking at activities to promote to the students for Active August, so we have put a shout out for teachers to assist in helping run and plan future activities. We have been lucky to have our School Chaplain on board. He was an important part of our National Walk to School Day and volunteered his time to help make and serve students breakfast on this day. We have had a few more interested teachers who are willing to join in our planning meetings and volunteer their time to assist with activities.

Recently our P and C president has stepped down from her role and so we have been lucky to have a stand in president, whom has worked tirelessly with the 'Your Move' events and is keen to continue. She has advised that the P and C are keen to volunteer their time to help out at any activities we plan in the near future. We also look forward to this partnership!

So far this year we have relied on volunteers to help with National Ride to School Day, National Walk to School Day, colouring competitions, surveys and safety lessons. Thanks to all who give up their time!

It is great to see the power of volunteers and have the support to really encourage our students to actively participate in walking or riding to school.

Well done Amy! These relationships take time to tend. Great to hear you are extending more invitations and building stronger bridges with the P&C. That's 65 points for your volunteer work and 10 for telling the story.
