East Butler Primary School was the lucky winners of the "Your Move" super Boost, Teacher Accreditation Course.

Firstly, I completed an online module, which took me through the basics of bikes, bike safety, hazardous environments and activities to do with students.

On May 25th, I dusted off my bike and met with 10 other participants from around the Perth Metro area, in Perry Lakes to complete the practical component of the Teacher Accreditation Couse. We were met by our wonderful and very knowledgeable bike instructor. We talked about the potential risk factors when teaching bike safety to students, looking at the environment, the equipment and the riders. We then got stuck into the practical component and had hands on experiences of lessons and skills to teach our students. We then got a chance to go off rode riding, which really tested my skills!

What a fantastic Super boost! Not to mention the knowledge I can pass onto my students in some Bike Education Classes. I can't wait to get these up and running at East Butler! Thank you "Your Move" team!
