We have finally been able to get our Sustainability Squad up and running. The Squad is made up of enthusiastic students who come before school one day a fortnight and meet with the staff leading The Squad. One of their jobs is to record how students travel to school on 'Move It Mondays'. This Squad has also seen the school student leadership group become more involved in with encouraging the school community to become more active.
Our first meeting saw various members being assigned roles, including how many students walk or ride to school. We hope to share this data at assemblies once they recommence.
The Squad is also joining with the P & C to support initiatives such as a planned 'Walking School Bus' to complete term 2.

Great team shot! Getting your team together has earned you 60 points. And reading between the lines, it seems you have started a regular Active Travel day, your 'Move it Mondays' - that has also earned you a huge 90 points. Did you know that for each term that you give an update on your MiMs you can earn another 90 points? I'll be watching with interest!
