Last year at Eden Hill the Your Move team achieved Gold Accreditation and was able to unlock a Connecting Schools Grant.

The Your Move team surveyed the teachers to see what would be most useful. Our Pre-Primary teachers asked for some bikes and road signs for the students.

As a result, we received four trikes and a set of road signs from the Department of Transport. As a team, we have gifted these to our Early Childhood classes, presenting them to the school at assembly. The Pre-Primary classes were so excited to see their new equipment. The school community was kept informed through an update in the school's newsletter and a notice on Connect.

The students have loved using their new equipment, riding safely and taking turns during play times. The ECE teachers have been teaching the students about bike safety and how to take turns. We would love to get a permanent bike path put in for our Pre-Primary students. Our Kindy kids are already lucky to have a lovely path and bike set.
