Its been a busy start to 2023 with a new Your Move Champion. I have huge shoes to fill with Donna Jarvinen taking up a new leadership position at the new school. Thank you Donna for all you have done at FCPS and the fantastic resource pack you left to get me started. As I am new Your Move, I also had a teams' meeting with Carol-Ann to go through the program and learn the ropes. I'm looking forward to getting off my training wheels fairly soon.
I have enlisted 2 Student Representatives to help me with organising Your Move events, plus have enlisted the support of a parent to help out too. Their first task was organising Wheel or Walk Wednesdays (WWW). On 15th February we launched this year's WWW. Our Student Reps met our enthusiastic walkers and riders to punch their cards. our first turn out was very impressive, with around 140 cards being given out. We hope this increases in the coming weeks.

Welcome to Your Move Jessica! I think it is official - your training wheels are already off 🚲. Being your first story as a new champion you have earned 12 points. You also have earned 60 points for starting a student team and another 80 points for launching your WWW regular active travel day. On top of that was a final 10 point bonus for sharing all those details and creating an engaging story - nice work 😁! Clearly you are off to a flying start!!
