This week we conducted our first ever transport survey. We asked the children who attended each day how they got to school. We presented the information on the wall for all parents and carers to see. We are next going to publish our survey results on our online portal. We hope to create a conversation about how we get to school and that even though most of us live locally and could use our feet to get to school, we often choose the easy option of the car.

Welcome on board Happy Campers! It is always great to have new schools signing up and even more fabulous to see these schools make their first move super fast just as you have done! It's great to hear that you are starting conversations in your school community using the Hands Up Survey and there is plenty that parents and carers can get involved in, including starting up a Walking School Bus.
