The school zone surrounding our school, Harrisdale Primary School and the local High School have been provided with a second Traffic Warden! This now means that HPS has a Traffic Warden located at both of our main access routes that students take to school. This has assisted us in promoting active travel to all students throughout the school as we are confident that they will be able to safely make their way to school with the assistance of our Traffic Wardens at both of our main cross walks.
Through the introduction of Traffic Wardens we have found that students are developing a better understanding for road rules and how to safely cross the road. The introduction of the Traffic Wardens has also provided parents with peace of mind that their children are able to safely make their way to and from school each day.
