National Walk to School Day

On Wednesday, October 26th we held our Annual Walk to School Day event. This was a wonderful event that saw students actively making their way to school. The Health and Wellbeing Team organised for staff members to assist students in their journey to school through a range of walking school buses through the suburb. One group had over 100 students join the walking school bus!

Along with this, The City of Armadale kindly donated two smoothie making bikes to the school for students to ride when they arrived to school. They were also able to take their healthy smoothies and drink them before heading off to class.

We were also lucky enough to use some of our Your Move rewards to purchase stickers which were handed out to students when they arrived through the gates.

Our National Walk to School Day event was excellent! Students had an absolute blast walking to school with their friends and being rewarded when they arrived! We would like to extend a big thank you to our staff volunteers, The City of Armadale and Your Move for helping make this event such a success.

Welcome back to Term 4 Abbi and everyone at Harrisdale 😊! Look at all those smiles and all those boxes of fruit 😲. Great to hear about the support from the City of Armadale and that you are making good use of our rewards. I would have loved to have seen that WSB with 100 kids on board! You have earned 40 points for your big event, 25 points for including special WSB routes for the day, and 15 points for your detailed story.
