On Wednesday 19th October we held Wacky Wheelie Wednesday, promoting active travel to school. Towards the end of term 3 our year 6’s designed posters advertising Wacky Wheelie Wednesday and put them up around the school. We posted announcements in the school news letter and on Connect, engaging the whole school community. As before, we added a link to a registration form which we are find very helpful with our planning and organisation.

Our students enthusiastically embraced the event Wacky Wheelie Wednesday on Wednesday 19th October. They were very creative, decorating their bikes, scooters, skateboards and even rollerblades. We saw amazing creepy Halloween inspired creations, monsters from the depths of the ocean and a balloon rainbow, to mention a few. All participants received a reward for getting involved.

It was wonderful seeing so many students wheeling their way to school with such broad smiles on their faces. We look forward to holding the event again next year. Thank you everyone for making it such an awesome event.
