Kilometre Club (1)

Kilometre Club runs twice a week before school.

It commences at 8am on the School Oval.

Students are encouraged to walk, jog or dance their way around the oval oval course.

Every lap counts towards the total distance.

This year we introduced a QR reader tracking system to record the number of laps completed.

Badges are earned for every 100km the students complete.

Kilometre Club is an excellent way to improve fitness.

Great to hear about your kilometre club Danielle. We love all things that increase physical activity, but unfortunately we can only reward those that are directly related to increased use of Active Travel for the trip to school. For future events like this, we encourage you to look at ways to add in Active Travel elements - for example you could encourage staff and students to do a "park and walk" on the way to school before the sessions, or you could award extra kilometres for those who walk, ride or bus to school.
