New Crosswalk Added

At Honeywood Primary School there is a Suggestion Box for students to add suggestions on what would make our school a better place.

During the first few weeks of term, many students indicated that they felt another crosswalk should be added to our Wheels track to allow students to cross safely during both breaks.

Students ride their bikes and scooters around a set track during both breaks. Previously there were two crosswalks around the bike track for students to use to cross from one area of the playground to the other.

The third crosswalk was actioned after the students suggested there was a need and the third crosswalk was installed.

This gives the students three safe places to cross to move from one area to another in the playground during Wheels Days.

I like how the crosswalks not only give kids practice at using them (as pedestrians, and as riders), but also serve a practical purpose of allowing students to safely get around during Wheels Days sessions. You have earned 10 points for sharing this additional to your wheels track with us.
