Ramp installed to enable safe route to walk to school

Honeywood Primary School is in its second year since being built.

One section of the school that parents and students used to enter from the community was extremely unsafe.

There was no footpath for pedestrians to walk up.Parents and students were put in danger as they had to walk from the footpath up a road that cars accessed to enable them to enter the school grounds.

The issue was reported to the Education Department and it was approved to install a ramp for parents and students to access rather than walking up the same road as cars access.
