Testing Created Road Signs

The year ones created road signs that they felt would help during "Wheels on Wednesday".

The signs were then taken out during the breaks for "Wheels on Wednesday".

The criteria for success was that the signs had to stand up without any assistance and that they helped with road rules.

The students created crosswalks for staff and our therapy dog- Taxi to cross.

Stop signs, crossing signs, give way signs, no entry signs and no u turn signs were some of the signs created and used during the breaks.

It was noted that many students on bikes and scooters struggled to stop at the crosswalks. It took a lot of coaching to incidentally educate students to prepare to stop before crosswalks to allow people to cross safely.
