Wheels Days (1)

Students from years 1-6 are encouraged to bring their bikes to school Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for our Wheels Days.

We originally started with one day- Wednesdays, but due to popularity Wheels on Wednesdays expanded to another two days in the week.

During first and second break students are allowed to ride their bikes or scooters in a set direction around the school.

Students must have signed permission form from their parents and must wear a helmet if they are to participate.

Students are also allowed to use roller blades or roller skates, but again only if they have a signed permission slip from their parents and are wearing a helmet.

You often see our Principal joining in on Wheels Days. She brings an added bonus- music coming from the back of the bike on a portable speaker.

The legendary Honeywood Wheel Days! Excellent news that they are back in full swing and bigger than ever. Honeywood kids must be very good at riding in traffic by the time they leave year 6 😊. You have earned 90 points for firing these up again in 2023. Did you know that now you can receive those 80 points TWICE per term, instead of just once? Just give us an update on how they are going with a bit of time between the two stories. You have also earned 10 points for clearly outlining how it all works.
