Receiving a Gold Grant of $2500 for good quality mountain bikes to help support our bike education programs was amazing news for PE Department. This allowed them to use the grant towards the upgrade of our existing mountain bike education equipment.

And then the grant just kept on giving beyond our own college community!

PE staff decided that the best use of the old bikes would be to donate them to Quairading DHS in the Wheatbelt. This donation allows the District High School to develop its own bike education program with the ongoing support and experience of our large metropolitan school PE staff.

This fantastic initiative organised by PE teacher, Rob Venn and Head of Design Technologies, Tim Rowberry is awesome! Giving up their own time, they organised a trailer and traveled the two and a half hour journey to the Wheatbelt town to deliver the bikes. Tim also donated a drone to the school to use as well...

Thanks Tim and Rob on allowing the Your Move gift to keep on giving.
