We are pleased to advise that our new 'Your Move' Student Team has been appointed. Our 6 student leaders will represent all students at our K-12 school and will help shape all our school activities and events to ensure they include an ongoing active travel focus. They have already met for their first meeting and will meet fortnightly to discuss upcoming events and the promotion of student voice at our school.
We endeavour to incorporate active travel into all existing events whilst also adding new active travel specific events to our termly calendars.
With a minimum of 4 Your Move themed events per term, we expect to have a strong whole school approach to add value to this important area, engaging all year levels in every event we provide.
Whilst we have only been a Your Move school for one term, we are hoping to achieve gold status by the end of this year (a great way to mark our first part year).

It really seems like LGDHS has hit the ground running, scooting and riding!
