Today we got our amazing Year 5 Transport Troopers together and attended Day 1 of the City of Stirling Your Move Leadership Lab!
It was facilitated by the ever-inspiring Cat from Millennium Kids and we had many special guest speakers from the Department of Transport, Department of Education, the RAC and the futures-focused Mayor of Stirling (Mark Irwin) even showed up to listen to students’ ideas!
Lake Gwelup and the other 10 schools discussed our visions for the future and highlighted what we loved about our communities before moving on to areas we could work together to change.
It was a wonderful day full of collaboration & inspiration. We can not wait to return tomorrow and start bringing these ideas to life!
It was also nice to meet some other Your Move champions face-to-face and hear their ideas. :)

Hi Joanna - I'm glad to hear that the face-to-face version of the Leadership Lab went well after being delayed last term. You have earned another 10 points for your update of the non-digital part of Day 1!
