The departing Year 6 students at MSPS participated in a Transperth workshop. Dave from Transperth ran an interactive and informative session on how students can make use of the public transport system. Students learnt how to read maps, top up and use their SmartRiders, prices of fares and how to plan a journey. Many of the students said they feel more comfortable using public transport now after attending the sesssion. A Year 6 student, Montanna said the best part of the worksop was learning how SmartRiders work and how much the different fares cost.

Some good life-skills learnt courtesy of Transperth, Brendan. SmartRiders make using public transport so easy! Looking forward to reading MSPS's journey in 2020.

Good timing Brendan - this should really help them when they step into high school next year. Was this Transperth's "Get on Board" incursion? You have earned 25 for doing this workshop, I've also given you 10 points for giving us some details of how it worked and reactions from the students.
