What a great day! Today, Mindarie Primary School coordinated it's annual National Walk Safely to School Initiative.
In total, 471 students walked, rode, scooted or 'Park and Walked' to school today! This represents approximately 63% of our student population.
The student leaders waited at each entry point into the school and handed out stickers, raffle tickets and congratulated/thanked each student for walking to school and helping to save the environment.
They then went around to each classroom and collected the completed raffle tickets, and announced the results over the PA. We gave out 36 passes to AQWA in total to our raffle winners.
Congratulations Mindarie Primary School and thank you to our student leaders!

Lots of smiles there, Andrew! Wow - seeing 471 students descending upon the school must have been a satisfying sight (and sharing that with the overall 63% participation rate has earned you a bonus 10 points). I bet the AQWA passes caused a lot of excitement! Have a great weekend!!
