To finish the 2020 school year in a bright and sparkly way, Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) children decorated their bikes and scooters with tinsel and bells! Children wore red, green and white Christmas colours to complement their bikes and scooters - it was a fun way to end the year!
Principal Mrs Cavelle Monck sent out a Connect notice and encouraged children to commute to and from school by using different modes of transport. Mrs Monck promoted the idea by selecting a talented 5th year student to work her art magic on a poster design to display around MLPS. A Face Book post was also created and posted by a MLPS P&C volunteer to ensure the message enticed as many people as possible to join this decorative bike and scooter extravaganza.
Bike racks are definitely needed at MLPS - it's great to finish on a positive note. The MLPS P&C's Traffic Management Group wishes you all a very merry festive season!
