MLPS teachers participated in the Term 1 Hands Up Survey last month, with the results entered on the website. It is great to see approximately half using active transport; predominantly bikes, scooters and walking. There is also some public transport usage, all of which reduces road traffic around MLPS. The infographic below shows the important behaviour change results.
The Hands Up Survey will be repeated in Term 4, which will hopefully maintain the trend of an increase in active transport.

It is great that even before NR2SD there was a 27% increase in cycling compared to the end of last year. I see that Kirsten submitted this survey last month - earning the school 50 points in the process. You have just earned another 10 points for sharing your reflections here.
