Hands Up Survey Week - Term 1 (tick)

Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) completed the Your Move Term 1 'Hands Up' survey on Monday 28 February 2022. Principal, Sandra Martin conscientiously ensures these surveys are completed at the start and end of the year to ensure MLPS is eligible for the fantastic rewards that the Your Move program offers. Plus, these results help the Department of Transport compile active transport data. MLPS achieved a -9% decrease in driving to school, yay!

Let's hope the Your Move program, compilation of stats and its momentum can help combat Perth's decline in active transport. Refer to 'The Declining Rate of Walking & Cycling to School in Perth Report'. It is an interesting read and an eye opener!

Well done Sandra, Sharnie and the whole team at MLPS! Lots of movement in the right direction there. You earned 50 points for uploading your HUS results last week and another 10 points for your reflections here. Thanks too for making the connection with the recent " Declining Rate of Walking & Cycling to School in Perth" report.
