Each term, Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) hosts two separate P&C Meetings (week 4 and week 8). These meetings raise matters that require attention and help the school raise funds for any necessities.

On Thursday 10 September, MLPS were honoured to welcome representatives from the Department of Transport (DoT), David Paddon and Trevor Buckenara. They showcased the ‘Safe Routes to School’ program and the City of Striling's Your Move initiative to get families on board to reduce the reliance on vehicles. This presentation was informative and beneficial for MLPS community - increasing understanding of both State and Local Government initiatives and encouraging parents to get involved in these programs.

MLPS strives to progressively achieve greater walkability and less reliance on vehicular use to and from school, with the aim to alleviate traffic congestion. We are working to encourage positive and sustainable behavours in both parents and children.
