P&C's Welcome Back Brekky Event 2021

Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) P&C held a ‘Welcome Back Brekky’ event on 20 February 2021. This was a fabulous opportunity for the school community to congregate on site, have a chat, enjoy some light brekky, a cuppa and celebrate the work that MLPS P&C volunteers do, e.g. social, uniform, Traffic Management Group (TMG) etc…

The P&C’s TMG organised a little promotional "station" and we:

• talked about what TMG does including promoting sustainable transport and raising greater awareness about road safety
• displayed safe walking routes
• handed out traffic safety /park your car and walk brochures
• promoted the City of Stirling/ Your Move competition and that there’s up to $3,500 worth of prizes up for grabs.

The TMG hopes to attract more people from the school community to volunteer and spread these important messages to MLPS kids and parents/carers.
