Today our newly appointed Sustainability Captains held their first meeting for 2021. For the first time ever, Mount Lawley Primary School has added the role of the Your Move Student Team to our Sustainability Captain role. At their first meeting, the captains and the Principal discussed the role of Your Move in our community and ideas to bring in exciting new initiatives to our school. They feel passionate about promoting sustainable ways of getting to school such as walking and riding bikes, scooters or skateboards. They have begun to brainstorm innovative ways to encourage students to ditch the car, and get to school in a fit and sustainable way. Stay tuned for updates!
