Term 3 is exciting for Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) as we have planned for two events, Park it for the Planet and World Car Free Day. The teachers, sustainability captains and the P&Cs Traffic Management Group (TMG) have spent copious amounts of time planning for these events and one of these events is highlighted in the fortnightly newsletter.
The newsletter promotes Park it for the Planet: a colouring-in competition & prizes up for grabs by students and a map for parents showing how easy it is to park cars in certain locations around Mount Lawley and walk the remainder to school.
400m = 5 minute walk!
The MLPS P&Cs Traffic Management Group aims to promote active transportation where possible. The MLPS fortnightly newsletter is such a great platform to convey these sustainable messages.

Great to hear about all the big plans - those events will be amazing. Make sure you update us after on everything including the comp and how the P&W goes. You have earned 15 points for your planning sessions, 22 for your newsletter item this term and 10 for sharing the details.
