Mount Lockyer's first TravelSmart Tuesday was a resounding success - a nice sunny day and lots of keen walkers and riders. Our Your Move student team handed out over 100 raffle tickets for the morning and the bike racks were overflowing (as you can see from the photo!). At today's assembly, 3 lucky winners will be drawn out and will go home with a Your Move water bottle and a free entry to the swimming pool. A great start for what will now be a regular event on the school calendar.

It is so good to hear that the first day was such a success that it is already in the calendar as a regular event! Good move in linking the story to your assembly - that earned you 25 points plus a little bonus of 5 for letting us know that you had 100+ participants. I really like the idea of rewarding kids with a pool pass - a great way for local government to contribute.
