Walking to school in May when the temperature is 20 degrees is a rare thing in the Great Southern. This might have been part of the reason why we set a new record for participants. There were 267 people who used our cross walk this morning, beating last year's record by 3. Our enthusiastic traffic warden, Luke, has been keeping the stats. We all made sure we expressed our gratitude to him for keeping us safe on 'Thank a Traffic Warden Day'.

Hi Lennon. Looks like the perfect temperature and clear blue skies for a walk to school. 🚶Reading between the lines, this was your special Walk Safely to School Event. Mount Lockyer PS has earned 40 points for having participated in the big day and 5 points for sharing these great stats with us. A further 20 points could be earned if you present Luke with an award or gift and then follow up with a story on it! 😉 Hope to hear from you soon about all things AT! 🚶🚲🛹🛼
