2021 is a big year in the history of Mount Lockyer Primary School, with a complete rebuild of the school now in full swing. Next year the students will walk in to a brand new school, but for now there is lots of adjustments and flexibility needed to make things work in the midst of a construction site. Hence our theme for the 2021 Ride 2 School Day bike parade! Students were encouraged to decorate their bikes in a construction theme, and the results were brilliant. From completed Job Safety Analysis forms to the obligatory iced coffee in the bike basket and plenty of hi-vis, the students who participated did an amazing job. A big thanks to Your Move for the prizes, and Wauters Building Company for their support and donation of Bunnings vouchers as extra prizes.

I love it! Mount Lockyer have done a great job at keeping R2SD fresh with this year's variation on the theme. Ah - I can just taste that classic Master's Iced Coffee (were there any Chico Rolls?)! You have earned 40 points for your celebration of R2SD, 20 points for the Dress Up Your Bike parade and 10 points for another great yarn. Keep all the good news coming in Andrea!
