One way we've promoted National Ride2School Day this year is by hosting a breakfast for all students, parents and carers participating in an active form of transport. What better way to build community and positive partnerships than gathering at our breakfast club with a sausage sizzle and smoothie session!

Caption: our Deputy Principal, Education Assistant, and AIEO manned our BBQ with a smile.

We were fortunate to have the City of Armadale contributing the use of their Blender Bike, as well as a selection of wonderful fresh fruit for smoothies. Our kids loved getting involved in pedalling and preparing delicious drinks for their classmates.

Our breakfast event was a hit - it was great to see so many members of our community present and engaged. We hope to make breakfast events a regular thing in our hectic school calendar - I could sure go for another smoothie!

What a fantastic event Heather! It looks like the breakfast and blender bikes were a winning addition to your R2SD. You have earned 40 points for the events, plus 10 points for putting together a great story!
