National Walk Safely To School Day (1)

We celebrated National Walk Safely To School Day last Friday – the 7th of May – to ensure that as many students as possible could participate, in light of NAPLAN this week.

We promoted the event via Facebook, the newsletter, and the Staff Bulletin, as well as reaching out to parents and carers via Class Dojo.

As students arrived to school, they were greeted in the courtyard with a yummy sausage sizzle and a smile. Our lovely Education Assistants and P&C members helped get everyone fed, and we managed to plough through an incredible 500 sausages!

It was tremendous to see such a wonderful turn-out – our bike rack was chockers, and we had plenty of people taking advantage of the sunshine. The sausages were clearly a hit!
