It was awesome to have our school community participate in National Walk Safely to School day for the second year in a row.

Of course, we had our resident barbecue experts manning the snag spot - what Neerigen Brook event is complete without a yummy breakfast?

Students walked, rode, and scootered their way to school. As usual, our early birds found the best parking spots.

We had the lovely Mrs Bateman handing out some of our bike stickers we redeemed from the points shop last year...

...which ended in lots of lovely smiling faces. Our student team also helped greet students at the gate.

Despite the chilly weather, we had a great turn out, and it was fantastic to see students and families getting involved in our first big event of the year.
