Bike Education comes to Noranda

Our Pre-Primary classes had their first lesson today with Anna and Nicolette from People On Bicycles.

A number of students brought their bicycles to school and there were some really groovy bike helmets too. While the weather kept us inside for a bit, we learned how to adjust our helmets correctly and discussed where we like to ride our bikes.

As soon as there was a break in the weather we practiced our scooting, gliding and pedaling skills. Some of us were really wobbly but we loved Anna and Nicolette showing us how to manage our bikes safely.

We look forward to the next few lessons with them and getting even more practice on our bikes!

Hi Tracey. Thanks for letting us know all about your Bike Ed session. I believe that you accessed this through our Super Boost package, and so I have linked your story to the "Apply for a grant" activity which earned you 40 points. Please let me know if my assumption is not correct. I'm glad to hear that the rain didn't through things out too much!
